gary - Undoubtedly, in terms of cooking at least, SKD has lit some marjoram up a time or too. You see, he likes to cook everything on the highest setting. That's probably where I learned to make <a href="http://hannihaus.com/archives/2005/07/04/accidental-en-flambe/" rel="nofollow">lamb chops en flambe'</a>.

I like to call him flash fry.

Adrienne - BWAAAA HAAA HAAAAAAAAA HAAAA!!! back atcha ;)

Amber - Girl you know what I'm talking about when I talk about AK and the weed. It's everywhere. Mostly because it's legal... and then it's not ... and then it's legal again.

Isn't Middle Way the best? The two times I went, it was at weird hours ( like 3pm) so service was pretty quick. I tried the Weds special - some sort of cabbage, avacado, pinto bean burrito and it was good. I also had the spicy veggie burger, whatever it's called. The Garden sandwhich was also delish (had a bit of moms), but the chocolate beet cake really blew my socks off. Their carrot cake was also, predictably, amazing. I'll be back for sure... maybe next time I'm in town we'll have to meet at the Middle. I'm dying to try their smoothies.

Sounds like a story I could tell! Who knows when you're from Alaska!!! HA HA HA!!!

BTW - I LOVE Middleway, when I can get my food! They're the most inconsistent service EVER. I have waited for over an hour for a flippin sandwich. So I am ashamed to admit that I have still not blackballed them because I LOVE the Lebanese Veggie! MMM MMM!!!
