Did I really save an old lady, you asked? Well, there were no cars coming, but she would have fallen flat on her face in the middle of a well-trafficked road. So, while I didn’t push her out of the way of a Mack truck, I still feel I saved her from *imminent* death. That’s still a good deed right? If anything I kept her from smashing her face on the gravel. If I had not, her Bridge girlfriends would have called her Gravel Face from then on, and that wouldn’t have been fun.
